Ltd., is a combined firm of East Drilling Company (P) Ltd. and ESLA Consult (P) Ltd., both of which have a common range of operations. In the past, international consultants and companies used to bring their own equipment, manpower, and technology for site investigations and consulting work for most major projects.

Due to these practices, very few private companies have developed their own tools and equipment for investigation purposes, which is a significant part of the investment. The main reasons for this lag are the cost of the equipment and the availability of trained manpower.
