EMES Pvt. Ltd.: The acronym EMES stands for East Management and Engineering Service Pvt. Ltd. It is an amalgamation of two companies: East Drilling Company (P) Ltd. and ESLA Consult (P) Ltd. These companies share a common scope of work. Historically, international consultants and companies used to bring their own equipment, manpower, and technology for site investigations and consulting work on major projects. However, this practice led to limited private companies developing their own tools and equipment for investigation purposes, which constitutes a significant part of the investment. The primary reasons for this lag were the high cost of equipment and the scarcity of trained manpower. To address these challenges and provide efficient and cost-effective services in this field, a group of professional engineers, supported by sub-professionals, have come together under a single umbrella—EMES Pvt. Ltd.—to meet the growing demand for engineering and management services across various development activities.

These individuals have come together to establish a firm that caters to the demands necessary for assisting in the economic design of various projects undertaken throughout the country. OFFICE
The company owns an office building with a laboratory setup for geotechnical services, a workshop for maintenance facilities, and a warehouse to store equipment. The location is situated near the Ring Road in Khumaltar, Lalitpur Municipality. This location can be accessed via the road leading to the Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) through the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).
ASSOCIATION
EMES augments its internal staff resources by collaborating with external companies and specialized experts. This collaboration occurs on both an ongoing basis and for specific projects.
